Copyright is the guaranteed protection given to all authors when they complete a completed work of fiction. However, periodically, we will register our stories with the United States copyright office. Therefore, do not reproduce any of our stories on another site or on social media without our explicit permission. Fake Movie Synopsis: For our Fake Movie Synopsis series, our writing will detail a basic plot outline of a made-up film that we randomly create. These synopses won’t be based on real movies but will be entirely fictitious. We will usually post a page-length of the plot synopsis for our made-up film. Additionally, we expect to post these infrequently, but our goal is to create one per month. In the future, we might be able to create more!
Shorter Stories: Our stories contain less than 1,000 words!
Switching Titles: Switching Titles is a new series of the Flash Fiction category in which we will choose two titular characters (from movies, television series, and novels) and discuss why they would be better suited for a different work of fiction. For example, have you ever wondered what might happen if a character from your favorite film was suddenly transported into the Dystopian world of a popular novel? Our goal is to sate your curiosity by doing just that across a diverse range of genres and mediums.
The Classics in Five Minutes: For this series, we have prepared a series of quick reviews for various classic films and novels! Our goal is that you can easily read them in under five minutes while learning everything you need to know to understand the basic plot in a funny and entertaining way!
If Movies or Books were a Playlist: This subcategory of Micro-Fiction is a simple way to outline the basic plot of a work of fiction through music! Thus, we will take a particular novel, film, or television series and create a music playlist based on significant scenes or critical moments from those works of fiction.
Top Ten of the Week: For our Top Ten of the Week series, we will decide on a new category or topic (music, television, film, etc.) and each write down five of our favorite moments! In total, the list will preview ten choices, with the author’s name next to each component.
Weekly Journal: We will post a new weekly journal at the end of every week with a brief discussion of any new developments we have encountered in our personal lives. Although these journals will be brief, we hope to keep everyone informed on everything that is happening to us while also sharing some thoughts and feelings with our readers!
