Season 9 Episode 9 of AHS:1984

This is the final episode of AHS:1984! Let’s see how everything concludes.

10:00

A Flock of Seagulls…This season clearly has the best soundtrack. I’m so glad the 80s happened.

2019

Modern Day! And a substantial time leap.

Camp Redwood was finally shut down, I assume. But why this guy decided to come looking for it is beyond my comprehension.

10:02

I guess nobody ever cleaned up around here.

Montana! Wait, she’s still a ghost?

10:03

Bobby! Mr. Jingles’ son! What a monumental moment.

But why is Montana so happy to see him? Did Mr. Jingles like go full-on crazy because he didn’t know what happened to his kid?

10:10

What is going on, here?

10:11

They’re ghosts, Bobby. This is obvious, right?

10:12

Bombshell. “None of the ghosts have”

Way to just casually drop that. Also, it might seem presumptuous, but I don’t think we should just be shooting ourselves in the head to prove a point.

1989

A nice chill out with the Night Stalker and Bruce.

Why did you kill Courtney, man? I thought she was a decent assistant.

10:15

Wow, Trevor trying to do the right thing for once.

And Margaret is back.

I knew Trevor would die, but that angsty moment where he almost didn’t make it back into the camp was really cinematic.

10:18

As if we didn’t think he would make it considering we just saw him in 2019

10:19

That’s what you get, Bruce.

10:20

“I’m gonna go kill this kid in Alaska.”

Wow, Bobby really owes Montana.

Billy Idol is the ultimate weakness.

10:21

Really, Ricky? You actually listened to Montana?

That was a super nasty death scene.

For thirty years they’ve had to keep killing Ricky? Actually, this is really morbid.

10:23

Gee thanks, guys. Bobby is probably super grateful.

This guy is super dumb. What part of “get out of this haunted camp” is so difficult to comprehend?

10:31

Are these two really about to slack off “re-killing Ricky duty”?

And why at his moment? Just because Bobby is back?

10:32

The whispery “vengeance” is really annoying, actually.

Bobby vs Ricky.

10:33

Find the medical director?

Oh, the asylum.

10:35

The last thing you should do in an asylum is act super crazy.

Donna?

10:36

We always go back to 1989.

10:37

Margaret Booth.

Are we supposed to cheer all the campers surrounding Margaret? I mean, obviously she’s gonna die.

10:38

Wait, did Brooke really get shot? She’s not the final girl?

10:39

Mulch grinder? That’s really gross.

10:40

After all this time, Donna has been at the asylum while the camp continues to be overrun by ghosts?

10:41

How edgy! Maybe Donna wasn’t the final girl.

10:44

Ford product placement.

Why was Bobby never more curious about who sent the money? Did he really just accept it without question?

I’m really glad the routing numbers on the check led to only one location.

10:45

Brooke lives!

To look like that? I feel like it’s probably just the make-up.

And it probably helps to be Emma Roberts.

So Brooke was sending Bobby checks? Super generous.

10:47

Back in time, again!

The bullet went straight through? And Ray decided to be an honorable person for once?

10:48

I don’t think we should be pouring it on like that.

This chick is really strong because I couldn’t have walked that far after being shot.

10:49

Bonded for life.

10:51

Yeah, I guess you are both the final girl. How sentimental.

Just saying, I never would have imagined that Donna would have made it this far.

10:57

Peaceful, Camp Redwood.

Wait, why is Margaret here?

10:58

Mr. Jingles! Family reunion!

10:59

Hey, Bobby’s grandmother!

11:00

“The 80s will never die”

What a glorious ending!
